Job Description This well-established, growing multi-site community health center system serving the two northernmost counties of Idaho with three medical clinics; a community-based outreach clinic for veterans; two dental clinics and 3 behavioral health clinics is seeking a primary care mid-level provider (FNP/PA-C) to join a dedicated, caring provider team with deep rooted connections to the communities we serve. This position is 4 clinic days/week in the KHS-Sandpoint Clinic. This clinic provides primary medical care for families and individuals of all ages in an integrated patient-centered medical home model of care which allows you, as a provider, to focus on what you do best...taking care of patients! KHS uses NextGen as its elecgtronic health record system and is part of the NCQA PCMH Recognition program with nursing case management, diabetic education program, 340-B pharmacy and patient assistance services in place to support patients. KHS is a National Health Service Corps student loan repayment site.
Community Description Sandpoint and Priest River, in the northern tip of Idaho, are located on magnificent Lake Pend Orielle (Idaho's largest lake with a shoreline 144 miles long and a depth of over 1,170 feet) and on the Pend Orielle River, surrounded by the Selkirk and Cabinet Mountain Ranges and home to Schweitzer Mountain, a world-class ski and snowboard resort (two magnificent bowls encompassing 2,900 skiable acres, 2,400 feet of vertical drop with 87 runs and trails served by two high-speed quads, a high-speed six-pack, one triple chairlift and three double chairlifts) which makes this area an exceptional place to live.
