||Prescription drug abuse is a growing epidemic in the United States and demands our attention. It affects our lives, our communities, and our country, and our world. It affects all of us socially, emotionally, financially, professionally, physically, cognitively, and environmentally. Whether you work in a school, hospital, police department, health center, community center, shelter, or any other health or human service setting, there is a role that you or your organization can play to positively impact the opioid use epidemic. This webinar will explore such roles for your consideration.
After participating in this webinar, you will be able to:
Describe tactics to promote opioid use screening and abuse prevention.
Identify models of community partnerships that can be effective in reducing opioid abuse.
